Michael Jackson released a statement to Access Hollywood regarding the eye-popping performance of Chris Brown on Sundays MTV Video Music Awards. During his set, the 18-year-old did a spot-on snippet of Jacksons Billie Jean dance from the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special in 1983. Chris is a bright and shining star whom I enjoy watching perform, Jackson said. I am happy to have had a positive influence on him.
