TGT? Are you serious now?
So Ginuwine has teamed up with Tank and Tyrese to form a super rnb group called TGT…. Peoples is this really what it comes down too when your career aint jumpin anymore?
“Ginuwine labeled the new group “a dream come trueâ€? and said the group will reshape R&B music. “Basically the world of R&B needed a change, and there were only a few chosen that could do it, R&B needed a pick up, R&B needed TGT,â€? Ginuwine said. TGT can be heard together on the remix to Tank’s current single “Please Don’t Go,â€? but the newly formed group has new plans for TGT in the future, including an international tour. The tour, entitled The Shirts Off Tour, will make stops in major American cities including New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami this fall. While on tour TGT will also have auditions to find its fourth member in an American Idol type format.”
The shirts off tour??? Auditions like American Idol??? Don’t just sound like a flop from the get go? Something like the whole remy ma, jackie o, shawna thang….

Why not ? There were some good black Boyz band out there. For example Boyz II Men and Blackstreet who is coming back. I wish them all the best. Did you ever watched the movie Best Man ? I love this song.

I actually think that it is a great idea because most of the R&B singers out right now are lacking soul and depth and I think that all three of these gentlemen fit that bill. I am excited to hear and see what this project will be all about and I support what they are doing 250%. Good luck and count me in for the cd and tour.

I think it’s good that people in the industry get together instead of going at each other’s neck in some fierce competition. Aside from the fact Tank is my cousin, I think it’s great to have a sexy, talented, all-about-the-ladies, young men come together to give listeners what they want, and what the game has been desperately in need of for quite some time. Sometimes ladies like to be made love to–body, soul, and mind. Why not by TGT? I wish they would add Jamie Foxx. Now you are definitely talking ear-gasm!!!

Lord ad’ mercy! but serriously, enough with the Justin Timberlake and Timberland combo we need some PROPER R’nB’ and these will be the men to bring SEXY BACK!!! and you know that each one of them can sing. All I wanna know is that they best be bringing the “Shirts off tour” to the UK. This has been a long time waiting and is what the R’nB’ scene desperately needs. Don’t get me wrong their has been and are some good artists our there right now (Robin Thicke) but we need the pioneers from back in the 90’s (Ginuwine) TGT to show them how it’s done. Whoever made this topic is so damn stupid. Here you have 3 of the best R&B singers period, forming a group. This fool is obviously doesn’t know good music. Tyrese is only going to get better. Ginuwine still hot, and I can’t find anybody that puts on a better show since he came out 10 years ago. And yall keep sleepin on my boy Tank. You don’t know he makes music for all of your favorite artist. And when it comes to making his own music, can’t nobody touch him. 3 sexy brothas makin’ sexy music. They are going to be the best thing that has happened to R&B. Look for that new single in January 08.

that would be me…..All I’m gonna say is that we are now in November and we have still not hear jack from the whole TGT thing….don’t get me wrong cuz I’m all about great vocalist and good performers woking together…but it should be a serious thing not something you do cuz what you did is not working anymore….and having auditons AI style to me is like selling out…you either make this group with this caliber of peoplewith the experience these cats have or you just don’t …. A nyways, I’m out!

I think it is a great idea. I am a fan of all three artists. They are all friends and they have all worked together in the past anyways and some people don’t know that. So, I can’t wait for their music to come out because I will support them. They all have strong vocal skills, they all write and produce their own music. to me they never went anywhere. They may not be pop artist but they are true RNB artists. And they all have a large fan base which is why they came up with the idea anyways. But I will buy the cd, requests their songs on the radio, and be at the Shirts Off concert. Don’t hate on the beautiful array of chocolate talented rnb singers. We need more. No more Justin. He is alright but there are alot better, including Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank.
