See, I like Solange. As a matter of fact, I like her alot.
but she sounds VERY similar to Beyonce, and with her being the younger of the two sisters, people are going to be quick to assume that she’s copying Beyonce’s style, (because 1. - She does, and 2. - People are just haters.) I dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, or if it just is. I know that she writes songs for people in the industry, including Beyonce, so maybe that’s where the similarity in sound stems from. But overall kudos to Solange, she looks greats, sounds great, from what I hear she dating again, she has an album coming out, and the two singles sound very good. I wish her the best of luck andd success with her music and acting career.

I don’t think she copies Beyonce I believe her sound is more like Electro/RnB, not the typical mainstream RnB like Bee/Kelly/DC3. I commend her for trying to find her own niche. It’s creative. She’s taking risks, and if you listen to the vocal arrangements of “White Picket Dreams” she’s doing them neo-soul-esque style. The drums are hot! Props to Solange, I didn’t care about her until those 2 tracks surfaced.

I like champagne chronicle nightcap. I don’t think Solange is that similar to Beyonce. Their voices and styles are different. According to me, Beyonce is more talented, but I wish Solange the best.

Hooray for Solange! She is very unquie her two new singels are now on my top 10 list of grate R&B songs(it take alot for me to like R&B). The one I like the most of the two songs is champagne chronic because it’s saying what most people feel like doing in a world of chaos( I love that song SO MUCH) and my husband enjoyed White Picket Dreams alot because he just loves the how she’s sings to the beat. About time:)

I gotta say, im not a solange fan. BUT by the titles of the songs i had 2 take a listen. WHIT PICKET DREAMS is on point. Real sexy, Real Velvety..and it kinda has a beat like Flaws and All..Its a big improvement and hear more material cuz im a guy, and i luv slow jams and i gotta say that WPD isa thumbs up.

i really liked solange’s first album. the girl is a great songwriter! her vocals aren’t the best but music is good.

i like the song because its different and its fun and white picket dreams reminded me of flass and all by beyonce… i don’t know if these are good or bad things. but i like the song but i really couldn’t understand everything she was singing. if solange can do something different from her sister than she can make it like the simpsons did
